This course offers a comprehensive toolkit for cultivating and maintaining mental wellbeing, now and in the future.

Topics covered include: stress, digital usage, sleep, eating, communication, self-esteem, emotional resilience, meditation techniques, the role of nature, neuroscience research.

Digital Detox - 4 weeks

This course helps participants understand the role their screens play in their lives and the effect it has on their quality of life and on their brains.

They will learn the 6 'Rs' of media compulsion - Reward, Relaxation, Recreation, Relationship, Relief and Retaliation - and which 'Rs' they use their media for the most
​

Having explored their over-reliance on their devices, participants reflect on what healthy habits they can replace their media usage with to better meet their needs
​

Nurture in Nature - 4 weeks

If you have outdoor green space at your setting or a park nearby, our 'Nurture in Nature' course will help your participants find calm and ease.

Nature has been shown to combat mental fatigue and rejuvenate attention. In fact, just 30 minutes spent in a natural environment can help lower the stress hormone, cortisol, by as much as 20% (University of Michegan, 2019)

Through focussed hands-on activities using the senses participants will enjoy feeling resourced and revitalised and ready to re-engage with their studies/work and day to day lives.

Time spent in nature had been proven to improve mental wellbeing.

For schools, this course is the ideal choice for the summer term around exam time. For everyone else, late spring and summer.
